Coffee and Connections for Teaching-Focused Faculty Community of Practice

Are you a teaching-focused faculty member? Does your Distribution of Effort (DOE) include a majority commitment to teaching? Would you value a space to exchange ideas, solve teaching challenges together, and learn from one another?

If so, join the Coffee and Connections Community of Practice (CoP), facilitated by Dr. Laura MacDiarmid (Assistant Professor, University of Guelph-Humber) and Dr. Steve Mattucci (Assistant Professor, College of Engineering).

This informal community brings together faculty from across the university whose primary role is teaching to build connections, share effective teaching practices, explore new ideas, and support one another's professional growth.

Whether you're looking for fresh perspectives, a sounding board for teaching ideas, or simply an opportunity to connect with colleagues who understand the unique opportunities and challenges of teaching-focused roles, Coffee and Connections offers a welcoming space to learn, collaborate, and strengthen our community.

Target Group: Faculty whose primary role or majority DOE is dedicated to teaching (e.g., more than 40% DOE dedicated to teaching) across all campuses
