Adapting Courses for Increased Enrollment: OTL Drop-In Office Hours Online
Join OTL for Drop-In Office Hours focused on supporting instructors who are working on adapting their courses for an increased class size. Instructional Technology Specialists and Educational Developers will be available to offer support and guidance. We also hope these drop-ins offer the opportunity to connect with other faculty members and share strategies. Stop by anytime during the drop-ins with your questions about:
- using CourseLink tools to improve grading efficiency
- the options available in CourseLink to communicate more efficiently with large numbers of students
- adding more opportunities for active learning or adapting current activities
- adapting assessments for an increase in the number of students in the course
- identifying and prioritizing course elements in response to increased course enrollment
Open to University of Guelph, University of Guelph-Humber, and Ridgetown faculty, instructors, staff, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, and teaching assistants who support teaching and learning. If you have a @guelphhumber.ca email address and are unable to register, please contact the Office of Teaching and Learning (otl@uoguelph.ca) with the name of the program you would like to register for, and we will complete the registration on your behalf.
