Teaching with Intention Program: Information & Orientation Session Online

Curious about the new Teaching with Intention Program? Join us for an information and orientation session where we'll walk through the program and how it might fit your teaching context and goals.

The Teaching with Intention Program offers flexible pathways for engaging with your teaching. Whether you want to explore new questions about your teaching, connect with colleagues across disciplines to discuss teaching, or make more visible the intentional choices you already make every day, this program offers the space to do that work with purpose, alongside colleagues doing the same.

In this session, you will:

  • Learn about the goals, structure and expectations of the Teaching with Intention Program
  • Learn how program participation is recognized
  • Explore the scholarly framework of the program and how the five lenses work together
  • Identify how to select program options that fit your career stage, teaching context, and areas of interest
  • Receive guidance on suggested pathways for different types of participants
  • Have your questions answered

This program is open to faculty, sessionals and contract instructors, post-doctoral fellows, graduate students who have completed the Red Maple Program for Emerging Educators and staff with instructional roles.

This session will be recorded. The recording will be shared with all those who register. If you cannot attend at the scheduled time, please still register.

Note: If you have a @guelphhumber.ca email address and are unable to register, please contact the Office of Teaching and Learning (otl@uoguelph.ca) with the name of the program you’d like to register for, and we will complete the registration on your behalf.
