Assessment Community of Practice In-Person
We invite Faculty, Sessional Instructors, and Graduate Teaching Assistants to be a part of the Assessment Community of Practice (CoP). At a moment when generative AI, academic integrity, and evolving learner needs are prompting educators to rethink how we assess, this CoP offers a collaborative space to share what's working, surface challenges, and explore new approaches together. We will learn from one another's experiences across disciplines and contexts.
The Assessment CoP will be held in person on the University of Guelph main campus. Please see the Assessment CoP dates below:
- Thursday October 1, 2026 from 11:00am-12:00pm
- Thursday October 22, 2026 from 11:00-12:00pm
- Thursday November 12, 2026 from 11:00-12:00pm
- Thursday December 3, 2025 from 10:30-12:00pm
Registration remains open throughout the semester, right up until the final session. You're welcome to join the CoP at any point along the way and don't need to register before the first meeting to participate.
Note: If you have a @guelphhumber.ca email address and are unable to register, please contact the Office of Teaching and Learning (otl@uoguelph.ca) with the name of the program you’d like to register for, and we will complete the registration on your behalf.
